Best of all, we pack it fresh to order here at our Kent-based factory, ensuring quality and consistency time and time again.<\/p>\n<h3>Facts About Irish Cream Flavoured Coffee<\/h3>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: square;\">\n<li>We begin with the finest quality Arabica beans instead of cheaper Robusta Coffee.<\/li>\n<li>By using Arabica, this Coffee maintains its \u201cCoffee taste\u201d even after adding extra flavours.<\/li>\n<li>We then blend a variety of speciality oils to produce notes reminiscent of Irish Cream.<\/li>\n<li>Irish Cream Flavoured Coffee is well-suited to those looking to cut down their alcohol intake.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Origins of Irish Coffee<\/h3>\n<p>Traditional Irish Coffee (known in Ireland as \u201cCaife Gaelach\u201d) is a cocktail that uses hot Coffee, Irish whiskey, sugar and cream. This combination of Coffee and alcohol, as well as all the extras, makes for a match made in heaven.<\/p>\n<p>Its flavour notes differ significantly depending on the type of whiskey\/Coffee used, although most consider it smooth and sweet. Naturally, it also comes with a kick!<\/p>\n<p>Unlike many cocktails, Irish Coffee has known and detailed origins. It was created by Joe Sheridan, a chef at Foynes Airport in Limerick, Ireland, in 1943.<\/p>\n<p>At this time, during the Second World War, Foynes was an airbase for transatlantic flights to Canada and the US. Often, political figures and Hollywood stars would stop here for the night en route.<\/p>\n<p>One evening, Mr Sheridan found himself serving a group of cold, weary, frustrated passengers whose flight had been delayed. Feeling empathy for them, he decided to make something special to try and cheer them up.<\/p>\n<p>Passengers needed a pick-me-up, but no doubt also wanted a stiff drink. And so the thought occurred to combine the two!<\/p>\n<p>One American passenger asked whether the cuppa in front of them was a <a title=\"Brazillian Coffee\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tea-and-coffee.com\/brazilian-rain-forest-alliance-coffee\">Brazillian Coffee<\/a>. The story goes that Joe replied: \u201cno, it\u2019s Irish\u201d. Suffice to say, everyone in the restaurant that night was pleasantly surprised. Irish Coffee was born!
